Going on a bicycle trip – June 16th, 2010

Sorry for the late update. I’m going on my bike trip tomorrow. Unless something crazy happens, I’ll be doing this trip up until August.

My route i take will be something like this. heh ok ok.. it wont be that dumb but, I start at Victoria, BC and end in Tijuana, MX. Although I should have internet access on this trip (brining netbook + netcard) I doubt i’ll have the time to update this site with random pictures and what not. I might… depending on my mood. (most likely will be updating my FB page..) anywho I’ll make todays update long to compensate for my absences.

J-drama – May 23rd, 2010

Recently a friend of mine just came back from visiting Japan. He mentioned this J-drama called “Yankee-kun to Megane-chan”. I started watching it.. I can’t stop now.. These days the majority of J-drama seem to be coming from Japanese comic books so the story is pretty cheezy but, that’s kinda what makes it funny. Anywhos.. watch it if you’re bored.

Also I’ve kinda been getting bored at Star Craft 2 Beta lately so, i’ve been playing Super Street Fighter 4. My gawd these fucken kids are good at this game these days. I play online and these kids (that end their username with 89, 90) i’m pretty sure those numbers they use to end their names are the year that they were born… which means… i’m suppose to end it with… ahh… 78?? HAHAHAHA fuck i’m old.. I’m takalaka on the PS3 network. play me if you’re bored!

Lately i’ve been surfing a lot of jpop music. After watching this M-flo video, I have become a fan of Sowelu!

I’ve seen her in the past but never thought to much of her until this particular song.(btw this video is old.. 2005) Wiki says she’s a quarter Irish, thus why she speaks english. Anywho.. good stuff.

On the topic of Jpop, youtube, music..etc Lately it’s pretty common to see a shit load of none Japanese people talking Japanese on youtube. It’s such a trip to me who lives in So Cal.. Anywho, I stumbled across this girl. Looks like she learned Japanese on her own in NY, then moved to Japan to start her music career over there.

Ohhh and, upon reading comments on these music videos on youtube, a shit load of internet noobs always ask the same thing.. “Where can i find your MP3?” Well here’s a tip for you noobs. Youtube videos are all Flash. There’s a lot of free sites / software out there that let you download these videos on to your desktop. All you kids need to do is goto google and type “covert flv to mp3″ and you’ll get a list of software sites that will provide you the tool to convert them to MP3. As a matter of fact, when you do a search on “covert flv to mp3″ the first page you click on is 2conv.com. Just cut and paste the youtube link to their site and they will make it to an mp3 for you. As for the quality of the mp3. I see / hear no problem with it. Yeaaaai now you can listen to the music on your ipod. noobs….

However there seems to be a catch. Looks like all the main characters are white and a lot people are boycotting the movie. I’m asian but I could really care less about this.. If anything, I wish they did the boycotting for Dragon Ball!!!! ANywhos.. this person and this person and this person are a few of the boycotting people. Umm… the last one is an asian chick with a british accent. I grew up in So Cal so.. umm.. when I hear/see asians with british accents.. it umm.. umm.. BUWHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! anywhos.. I have an american accent so. they can laugh at me..

I bought me a bicycle! – April 20th, 2010

I hope to be using this as a touring bike soon. ( Electra Townie Sport 2200 Titanium M ) I have my reasons for getting this bike instead of a real touring bike. Price was not a factor. weight is about the same. Tires size and type are about the same. Only a 18 speed but, I dont plan on riding through somewhere that needs me to change gears more then 18 so.. (touring bikes are usually 21 and up i think.. ) Anywhos, we’ll see how this goes. Need to get racks for the back and something for the front. More over, need to workout!

On a different note, only a hand full of horror films freak me out. The majority make me laugh.

After almost 10 years, they are finally coming out with Marvel Vs Capcom 3 ! Hoepfully they are releasing this for the PS3..

I say this because, I wanted to get Tatsunoko vs Capcom but, it’s only out for the Wii (japanese wii) It might be out for the US Wii now but, i haven’t really looked into it yet. More over, my Wii is collecting dust and i’m to lazy to connect it to my TV at this point so, I want to get it for the PS3… (my gawd, I sound like a winny rich little bitch… But trust me, that’s not the case.. i’m just extreeeeeemly lazy )
